Mr Lim Ming Shing
Chief Financial Officer
Mr Lim joined Sanli in 2025 and currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer. In this capacity, he provides strategic leadership over the Group’s finance function, including financial management, investor relations, fundraising initiatives, and mergers and acquisitions activities.
With more than 25 years of experience in finance and corporate strategy, Mr Lim contributes to the Group’s continued growth and organisational transformation.
Mr Lim holds a Professional Accountancy Qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Mr Chua Chwee Tian, Andrew
Business Unit Director (Enviro Plant & Engineering Pte. Ltd.)
Mr Chua joined Sanli in 2014 and currently serves as the Managing Director of Enviro Plant & Engineering Pte. Ltd.. His primary focus is on delivering environmental engineering solutions for the industrial sector.
With over 30 years of experience in project management and business development within the environmental engineering and pump sectors, Mr Chua brings his invaluable expertise to our team and has played a pivotal role in establishing Sanli Myanmar and subsequently excelled in various sales and marketing initiatives.
Mr Chua holds a Diploma in Public Health Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Environmental Engineering from Deakin University.
Mr Vasu Babu
Business Unit Director (Sanli E&C Pte. Ltd.)
Mr Babu has been a valued member of Sanli since 2006 and currently serves as the Managing Director of Sanli E&C Pte. Ltd.. In this leadership role, he oversees plant servicing, operations and maintenance (O&M), as well as MEICA equipment replacement projects across both public and private sectors, driving operational excellence and project delivery.
Beginning his career with Sanli alongside the Company’s founders, Mr Babu has demonstrated outstanding performance, strong leadership, and unwavering dedication. His contributions have been instrumental in his progression to his current position. Over his 19 years with the Group, Mr Babu has successfully delivered numerous O&M and EPC projects, consistently achieving results that exceed expectations and add value to clients and stakeholders.
Mr Babu holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Coventry University. His qualifications, coupled with his extensive experience, make him an invaluable leader in our industry.
Mr Tan Siong Heng, Daniel
Operations Director (Engineering, Procurement And Construction)
Mr Tan joined Sanli in 2021 and currently serves as Head of Operations, overseeing the operational activities and project execution of the EPC business unit and Enviro Plant & Engineering Pte. Ltd.. He is responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of projects, optimising performance, and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
With over three decades of experience in Water & Wastewater Treatment and Electro-Chlorination Plant operations, Mr Tan has managed significant projects for clients such as PUB and successfully completed the Oman Nimr MBR Project. He has also spearheaded over 100 Electro-Chlorination Projects across Asia, ranging from Power Plants to FPSOs and Municipal Plants.
Mr Tan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nanyang Technological University and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
Mr Tan Chun Haw
Business Unit Director (Engineering, Procurement And Construction)
Mr Tan joined Sanli in 2021 and currently leads the EPC 1 Business Unit, where he drives profitable growth, develops long-term business strategies, and ensures high standards of safety, integrity, operational excellence, and business continuity.
With over 15 years of experience in project management within the water and wastewater industries, Mr Tan’s prior accomplishments include notable projects such as the Changi Airport Pumphouse & Substation, JWRP Industrial Water Pumping Station, RWS Marine Life Park Life Support System, and Chestnut Avenue Waterworks BAC & Ozone Process Upgrading.
Mr Tan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire. Additionally, he is certified as a Project Manager (CPM) and holds the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification.
Mr Wong Yik Phui
General Manager (Corporate)
Mr Wong joined Sanli in 2022 and serves as General Manager (Corporate). He is responsible for contracts, design and fabrication, information technology, and administrations. In addition, he oversees the Group’s overseas business units and our newly established TEN (Transport & Energy Nexus) business unit.
With a remarkable career spanning over 25 years in a large conglomerate, Mr Wong has led marketing & sales, business operations, and management in Power Grid, Electrifications and Automation. He was also an APAC Regional Market Manager before joining the Group.
Mr Wong holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and an Advanced Diploma in Strategic Marketing from Singapore Polytechnic. Additionally, he also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
Mr Abdul Zahid Abd Karim
Health, Safety And Environment Director
Mr Zahid joined Sanli in 2019 and currently serves as the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Director, overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and continual improvement of HSE management systems across the Group.
With over 20 years of experience in HSE management, Mr Zahid brings extensive expertise in developing robust HSE frameworks, driving compliance, and fostering a strong safety culture within the organisation.
Mr Zahid holds a Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and Bachelor of Science in Safety, Health and Environment Management from Leeds Beckett University, UK. He is a certified and registered professional with credentials recognised by key regulatory and professional bodies, including the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), The National Environment Agency (NEA), Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), The Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES), Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and Training and Adult Educator Professional Pathway (TAEPP). His qualifications reflect extensive expertise in workplace safety and health, fire safety, environmental management, and adult education.
